What's all this, then?
My name is Akiva Levy, and I am an avid technologist, hacker, and perveyor of fine things. I build Web applications that are elegant, efficient, and effective.
When it comes to design, I always look forward to getting the experience of translating a visual idea into POSH markup enriched with Microdata for embedding semantic meaning, and approaching the presentation layer with well-thought out cascading styles sheets.
Consultation and Public Talks
What I do seems to interest other people enough to warrant their desire to have me speak at workshops or their organizations. I am grateful in saying that I have had the pleasure of such talks with various groups, including the W3C and ISOC.
I am currently scheduling projects and can be contacted online via any of the means listed here (although due to my busy schedule, activity on various social networks may be sparse) or by filling out the form on the contact page.
About this site
This site uses HTML5 with Microdata for markup and CSS3 for style. It was built and developed using Ruby and Linux. Our lovely typeface, Fontin, was produced by the talented Jos Buivenga.
